Vale Business Start-Up and Early Growth Bursary
The Vale of Glamorgan Council continue to be fully committed to supporting economic development and businesses throughout the county and have successfully secured funding to deliver the Vale Business Start-Up and Growth Bursary, which is funded by UK Government via the Local Growth Fund.
The Vale Business Start-Up and Early Growth Bursary purpose is to promote the conditions and provide funding for individuals, groups, and early-stage businesses intending to start, implement or grow a business or community enterprise in the Vale of Glamorgan.

The SME Low Carbon Grant Programme
The SME Low Carbon Capital Grant Programme is funded through the Local Growth Fund for Wales and delivered by Vale of Glamorgan Council to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to invest in low‑carbon energy technologies.
The fund will provide capital grants covering up to 50% of eligible project costs, with businesses required to contribute a minimum of 50% match funding. Grant amounts will be between £1000 and £20,000.
