Porthkerry Park will be closed to all vehicles from 4pm on Tuesday 6th May until the morning of Friday 9th May for essential roadworks. Footpaths and cycling routes will remain open but routes may be altered, please adhere to signage and barriers. Apologies for any inconvenience.
220 acres of woods and meadowland in a sheltered valley leading to a pebble beach and spectacular cliffs.
The park has a number of nature trails, picnic sites, a café and an adventure play area. Picnic tables and benches are situated a short distance from the main car park.
Season tickets are available to regular visitors to our country parks.
Country park season tickets can be used in both Cosmeston and Porthkerry country parks.

A new project to rewild the old golf course has recently been undertaken. This project will create a mosaic of habitats, including hedgerows, ponds, wildflower meadows and salt marsh for the benefit of wildlife, alongside improved access and picnic facilities for visitors.
Horse riding is available for permit holders along the main roads within the park.
Individual Permit: £31 per year
