The Glamorgan Heritage Coast Centre is open to groups by appointment only.

 

If you would like to visit the centre please contact us to arrange.

 

The centre is bursting with information about the local area. You can read about our coastline, its geology, the history of Dunraven Park and flora and fauna unique to the Heritage Coast on our interactive information stations. 

 

Touchscreen tablets provide ideas for family days out and allow kids to play ‘Wrecker’s Run’, a children’s game based on Walter Vaughan, historically a notorious local ship wrecker. Our tablets bring history to life with augmented reality apps which show how historical sites may have looked in their heyday.

Our large hall can be hired for functions, meetings, clubs and parties with commercial and community rates to suit.

How to hire the Mobility Scooter

Heritage Coast Mobility ScooterThe mobility scooter was provided by the Friends of the Glamorgan Heritage Coast and can be used along the Welsh Coastal Path to access Dunraven gardens, Traeth Mawr view point and the footprint of Dunraven Castle

 

The mobility scooter is available for loan and free to use.

 

Users just need to show one form of photo ID such as a passport or driving licence, or two proofs of name and address such as a utility bill and a bank statement.

 

Please call ahead to reserve the mobility scooter before you arrive as it is popular and in high demand.
